#1 I have a Ross Carnivore 34 and to say I'm impressed with the Bow would be a Big understatement!!
I used it in NE to tag 2 Merriam Turkeys.
From the time I got the bow, set it up, tuned it, and sighted it in, I was Impressed.
The Bow is very Stable, Super Smooth to Draw, Holds & aims like a rock, and groups arrows tight.
I may have to have another one. Either the 31 or the 37. Anyone shopping for a New hunting bow in the $600 range would be doing themselves a Great injustice if they did Not take time to shoot the Carnivore!!
I have drawn the Swat, but I have not shot it. IBO they are within 2 fps, and price is pretty much the same. Shoot them both! One should stand out after you shoot a while.

#2 Shot a new 2009 Ross Carnivore and HOLY **** amaznigly smooth draw and very very fast. 71# 29" draw with a 350gr arrow 328fps chrono'd. I shot the 31" A.T.A. bow and yeah its short fast and quiet with no string suppresors, no stabilizer and the new Octane drop away. Yeah this might be a new bow for me if I can afford one in '09

Unleash predatory power!
Powerful yet sleek, the Carnivore assaults the prey of your choice with lethal force, leaving a path of carnage in its wake. Its Hybrid Cam System features two asymmetric cams for an ultra-smooth draw, coupling smoothness with speed to ensure a quick kill. Nock travel is perfectly level, resulting in easy tuning for greater accuracy. Like the tendons of a crouching predator, the innovative Krank pulley system harnesses the most powerful limbs in the industry—at full draw, it creates a 2:1 load ratio that allows for increased cable tensions. The Krank’s unique split buss cable configuration on both the top and bottom limbs eliminates cam-lean and provides unmatched stability.
