Diamond Iceman compound bows

Got the Iceman in the shop today, and first thing right off the bat i fell in love with was the handle imo it was perfect. the draw cycle was pretty smooth. and my personal favorite thing about bowtechs ( they're rock solid wall.) was once again spot on. The shot it self feels good, but the iceman is a tiny bit louder than the admeral or the general, and it has the same kinda low fequentcy hand shock the reezen does, except it does not last as long. Its both light and forgiving. But the only draw back it has in my eyes is it seemed REALLY slow. so I took a 395 grain arrow our demo reezen 28inch @60lbs and the iceman 29inch @ 70lbs both with whisker busicuts and shot them through the chrono and the mathews only shot 3fps slower than the inch longer and 10 lbs heavier iceman... Other than that its a great bow, and if i weren't such a speed freak id buy it.

Quiet, fast, nice brace height so it is pretty forgiving. the bow itself is a fairly small package and light which will be nice in the field or on 3D shootsExcellent bow worth the price. when someone talks of diamond being the lesser product of bowtech they need to do some more research that is not the case. diamond is simply the single cam line of bows, and bowtech is the binary cam.As of yet the only drawback i have found is after only a few shots the rubber string silencers on the strings had fingers that were tearing off due to the speed. in my opinion the bow is so quiet they aren't really needed.

The Diamond IceMan cometh. And with it comes deadly quiet, vibration-damping Center Pivot riser technology. The Ice Man’s single-piece riser begins as a 29 3/4" piece of durably forged aluminum. The forging process retains the structural integrity of the aluminum at a molecular level. The resulting strength and stiffness not only ensures precision, but enables us to remove more material during the machining process for a sleek, skeletal and lightweight riser. Single-piece riser design combines with our Zero Tolerance Assembly process to guarantee consistent shot placement shot after shot. The unique carbon shaft string supressor is directly in line with the stabilizer bushing to transfer vibration away from your hand. Our unique single rotating mod enables draw length adjustment over a seven-inch range in half inch increments, providing a custom fit to your specification, then allows you to pass the bow on to different sized friends or family as you bring them into the amazing world of bowhunting with a Diamond.
