#1 Just got the 2008 Hoyt Avenger. The Avenger is awesome! It's well built and very quiet. I'm only shooting 57# and can't believe how it launches and arrow at 40 yards. I highly recommend this bow.

#1 Bow is in amazing condition and I can't wait to start shooting the best made bow out there..A Hoyt!!
#2 I am very impressed with this bow. Light (But not too Light to hold steady), split limb design, Z3 cams, and overall performance are amazing. It is not the best in the world, but it is close.

#1 Bought this bow to upgrade from my original bow. Relatively new to archery, and my old bow was a year 2000 Martin with totally un-parallel limbs. What a difference! The Marquis may be longer and a little heavier than some of its peers, but between those facts and the beyond parallel limbs, recoil is a thing of the past. Even when compared with another newer Diamond bow which a friend has, the Marquis is well above and beyond in speed and lack of recoil.

#2 This bow is a great shooter. It has good speed, it is very quiet, smooth to draw, and little hand shock. May be a little long axle to axle and a little heavy for some hunters, but I like it.

The 2009 Diamond Marquis Compound Bow begins as a 30" piece of durably forged aluminum that is then fully machined to the tightest tolerances achievable. This incredibly strong, perfectly straight riser is designed with our one-of-a-kind shelf trough that incorporates a thumb groove below the shelf to reduce the distance between your hand and the arrow. The result is significantly reduced vertical torque and rock-solid stability at full draw. Upon release, our unique Vertical Force Technology (VFT) and Pinnacle5 Cam efficiently transfers stored energy to the arrow. The string supressor is directly in line with the stabilizer bushing to transfer vibration away from your hand and towards the target.
